Dj Harkay hails his roots & origin from the land of Mt.Everest, and is the founder of Himalayanvibe. Electronic music was injected into his veins after listening to the likes of Prodigy, Orbital, Paul Van Dyk, Talvin Singh and attending several raves during the 1990s. Djin' took Harkay to several states all across the USA. After a brief visit to his homeland during the summer of 2004, he realized the need to spread his love for electronic music into further boundaries. Thus, the fusionist attitude crept in and Himalayanvibe was born during Nov 2004. Based out of Washington DC area, the goal and aim of Himalayanvibe is to promote and create a unique clubbing experience infused with a harmonic mix of Eastern & Western beatz. Himalayanvibe believes in promoting PEACE through it's soundz and hopes one day, the kingdom of Nepal will see a bright shining light at the end of the tunnel. We also hope to bring together people of all races and religions, an atmosphere where music and culture interact.

Himalayanvibe's goal is to promote the vibrant ethnic soundz of Nepal to a wider audience in a form never heard before. Himalayanvibe biggest ambition is to organize the ultimate electronic gathering - the highest in the world...at the base camp of Mt.Everest bringing together electronic artists from all corners of the globe.
